ABOUT THE HEATAH / BARRINGTON & FARMINGTON, NEW HAMPSHIRE
Our neighbors. Our winters. Our reason to build.
Created by Jason Sirotin with fabricator partner Sam Plante, The Heatah began with a shared purpose: pursue a practical way to help New England families make more of the warmth they already have.
The heating bill is personal.
For families across New England, keeping a home warm is a household priority that competes with everything else a family needs. When heating oil prices climb, the pressure reaches kitchen tables, family budgets and the decisions people make all winter.
We started The Heatah because we want to help. Our roots are in Barrington and Farmington, New Hampshire. These are our communities, and the families we hope to serve are our neighbors.
Why this work feels urgent.
For the week of October 12, 2026, the U.S. Energy Information Administration reported a New England residential heating-oil average of $6.081 per gallon, compared with $3.470 for the week of October 13, 2025. That is an approximately 75% increase in the surveyed per-gallon price.
Source: EIA weekly New England residential heating-oil series, released October 15, 2026; reviewed October 19, 2026. Regional survey prices are not individual delivery quotes or a forecast of total household bills. Prices change.
That pressure is part of our motivation. Our mission is to help families make winter more manageable. Individual heating costs depend on the home, weather and fuel use.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE IDEA
A creator and a fabricator. A shared commitment.
CREATOR
Jason Sirotin
Jason created The Heatah around a straightforward question: if a wood fire is already producing heat beneath its grate, could a compact system make some of that warmth more useful in the home?
His motivation is rooted in family, community and the rising cost of keeping a home comfortable through a New England winter. He wants to build a business that earns its place by solving a practical problem for the people around him.
PARTNER & FABRICATOR
Sam Plante
Sam is Jason’s fabricator partner in The Heatah. He brings a practical fabrication perspective to the business, sharing Jason’s focus on serving families across New England.
Alongside Jason, Sam shares a commitment to their New Hampshire communities and the families they hope to help. Their shared purpose is to build a dependable business rooted in the communities they call home.
Helping more families is the ambition.
Our goal is to bring The Heatah to as many suitable New England households as possible. We hope it can become one practical part of making winter more manageable.
That ambition includes building a business capable of reaching families across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. We want growth to follow demonstrated usefulness, clear information and earned trust.
We are targeting initial shipments for December 2026. Free reservations give families a way to express interest and receive product information before deciding to buy. Shipping timing may change.
A commitment to the place we call home.
Barrington and Farmington are the local roots of this partnership. Our commitment is to our communities, our families and our neighbors across the region.
We are committed to clear product information, thoughtful service and honest communication. Families deserve information they can rely on when making decisions about their homes.
